Refurbished items are not eligible for Canon rebates — correct?

i know. im trying to convince the wife that getting one here is better than getting the black friday special at target
Correct.
The EF 17-40mm f/4L seems to be gone from the refurbished store entirely and now says “Not Available” when I look it up. Does that mean this lens won’t be restocked again? I know it was already restocked once, but I was really hoping to get my hands on it.
