On these refurbs has there been better discounts than 15%? I want to purchase
The 100mm macro L. Right now with the 15% off it’s at around $715 not including taxes. Wonder if I should pull the trigger or wait for a better discount down the road. There is no rush for now.
They have had as high as 20% off sale. However rarely can you find things in-stock in a 20% off sale. This is a fairly good price given MAP, but the price was about the same amount new during Holiday 2013 (as Bradley mentions above). We don’t expect to see that price again until at least Holiday 2014, but you never know with Canon’s crazy pricing policies.

Yes, there was an insane deal in December 2013. It was a MIR + double-dip and then some at BuyDig via eBay, final price $719. They were giving them away…

I picked up a 2x extender and 600ex thanks to some old CPW email alerts that I forgot I set (for the third time now, I caught the 24-70 2.8 in stock during a refurb sale and passed – hopefully someday I’ll be impractical enough to pull the trigger). It does help being on PDT where they started the sale before we were in bed 😛 Thanks for the service.
