Hot: 5D Mark III for $2574, AllNewShop via eBay (a.k.a. Get It Digital)

AllNewShop via eBay (same company as Get It Digital) has the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $2574.99.

Get It Digital is not an authorized dealer, but they are one of the most reliable unauthorized dealers. Because they are unauthorized there is no need for a mail in rebate; your first and final price is $2574.99. This is today’s eBay Daily Deal!

UPDATE: The store has contacted us to let us know that it is indeed US model! You can read about US models in our article, they are eligible for Canon USA warranty!

I just ordered because your email said authorized dealer. I need USA Canon warranty. Should I cancel?

Sorry — they switched the deal on us — we sent out a correction e-mail. They are NOT authorized.

You can message the seller to request a cancellation, they’ll send you a mutual cancellation request via eBay that you can approve.

We tried, but cannot reach the retailer to confirm whether or not this is USA model. We’re advising our readers to assume that this is an import version in lieu of any other information.

It’s still a good deal for import (matching the recent other deals), and again we’ve never have had a **confirmed** case of an import body being rejected for warranty service (but please contact us or comment below if you have ever experienced this so we can share your story with the community).

I did too…can you cancel an ebay order?

Yes. It shouldn’t be a problem. Just message the seller and request a mutual cancellation — they’ll send a cancellation request. I’m really sorry about the error. If you have any problems with the cancellation please let me know and I’ll help resolve it.

I contacted the seller to cancel this morning but they did not reply. I called too but they did not answer or reply to my message. Ebay would not help me either.

I tried calling this morning too. They don’t seem to answer the phone on weekends. Try Monday morning? Did you pay with Credit Card via PayPal?

Does anyone know of a company that has buy back programs? I want to trade my mark II for a Mark III.

    1. May 10, 2014 at 6:53 pm EDT

You can trade it in on Amazon or Keh.com also has trade in programs. Otherwise, you may be wise to sell it yourself.

    2. May 10, 2014 at 11:39 pm EDT

To get the best value you’re best off selling it yourself; but some stores such as B&H and Adorama will buy back your old bodies and lenses from you.

Why would I pay that much for a cheap Chinese import? Why chance it nothing quality comes from China they can’t even make good fake dog poop.

You sir! Did you pass 6th grade ?!

Japan not China, I big difference in country’s.

  12. May 11, 2014 at 7:20 am EDT

Import does not mean knock off. It means it is not a US market model.

  13. May 11, 2014 at 10:16 am EDT

do your homework on what makes a model an import versus a USA model. They all come from the same factory.

  14. May 11, 2014 at 11:05 am EDT

At the time, with all the new tech out there. This camera is worth $1,200 to 1500. At $1,999 the GH4 outperforms it.

Regarding “import” vs “USA model”, hopefully our article here can clear it up. Yes, they are all from the same factory, the only difference is what region they were intended to be sold to, as well as some implications on warranty.
