Nhan, canon told me before when it won’t allow you to add to cart it’s because they are already sold out the system just hasn’t had time to update. I ordered mine Tuesday

Hmmm..I set a in stock alert with Canon for the 85 1.2 but didn’t get anything. It was out of stock minutes after I got the alert email from CPW.

I’ve signed up for email notifications from Canon 3 times for the 70-200, but never get an email when it gets restocked. Is anyone else having the same problem? If it weren’t for this site, I would never know.

    1. June 14, 2014 at 12:26 am EDT

I receive notifications. Check the email you gave them to be sure 🙂

    2. June 14, 2014 at 3:51 pm EDT

Just to be clear, Ryan, are you referring to Canon notifications or ours? Canon’s site’s notifications never seem to work.

The canon site seems to work better with IE than Chrome don’t know about others

I never got an email EVER I had to literally stalk the computer and hit refresh for right at 24 hrs and I was blessed to get it

    1. June 14, 2014 at 3:50 pm EDT

When you said you didn’t get an e-mail, are you referring to Canon’s notification system, or ours?

    2. June 14, 2014 at 6:44 pm EDT

      Canons systems not yours

  10. June 13, 2014 at 6:30 pm EDT

    Just use cpw’s notification system.

Same here…out in within minutes of getting the notification.

I’m fairly certain I’m capable of entering the correct email address at least once out of three tries, but thanks for your advice, Robert. Mike, you might be onto something, as I use Chrome. Maybe that has something to do with it?

    1. June 14, 2014 at 3:50 pm EDT

Are you referring to Canon’s notification system, or ours? Canon’s notification system doesn’t work, at all. If it’s an issue with ours please contact us and let me know, and/or check spam folders.

I’ve managed to get a refurbished 70-200 f2.8 mark ii in the past using cpw notification. Seems to work out better. Just have to get on it right away after getting the email.
