PIXMA PRO-100 + 50 Sheets Photo Paper for $38.40 AR at Amazon

If you missed the Adorama PIXMA PRO-100 printer deal, or want an extra printer, you get a second chance: Amazon has the PIXMA PRO-100 and 50 sheets of SG-201 13″x19″ Photo Paper for $38.40, after a $300 mail-in rebate. Free shipping.

UPDATE: Out of stock, but you can back-order at this price.
UPDATE 2: No longer accepting backorders. Deal is done.

Follow these steps to get the discount:

  1. Click this link, which adds both the PIXMA PRO-100 and the SG-201 Photo Paper to your cart.
  2. Price in cart is $338.40, then get a $300 mail-in rebate.
  3. Final price will be $38.40 after mail-in rebate.

A few things to note: this deal is best if Amazon does not charge sales tax to your state, or your sales tax rate is low. Also, this is a new mail-in rebate that started on July 6th and ends on August 30th. As it has a different promotion ID than the previous rebate, you are eligible for this rebate even if you did the previous printer rebate.

The rebate for seems to indicate that the paper for the $300 rebate w/printer is the SG-101, so the SG-201 probably wouldn’t qualify.

FYI They do not seem to have the SG-101 paper for sale, but they have the LU-101 for $40 which is the 2nd paper choice for the print w/paper $300 rebate.

Looks like that’s a typo (by Canon) on the rebate form — it looks like they updated it to correct it to “SG-201”. I have updated the form on our site to match.

That’s what I get for looking at the rebate form on Amazon as I viewed the printer in question. Hmm, I see that Amazon has now replaced their rebate form too. Much simpler form which does say SG-201.

      Thanks

The Amazon rebate form also has the correct “SG-201” now. Maybe they just updated it. http://g-ec2.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/khopkark/CanonIJP_CameraMIRclaimform._V349049054_.pdf

Yeah, after your 1st reply, I double checked & it had been replaced with an all new form. Much simpler & has the SG-201 listed

It seems people are having issue getting the rebate!

They are saying Amazon is not authorized seller.

“Canon clearly stated on it’s rebate document that only purchasing from an authorized dealer qualifies for the rebate. Canon’s rebate document further listed each and every authorized dealers. Amazon is not on the list, and is not an authorized dealer.”

So is Amazon authorized canon seller? where does it state that? help guys

Amazon is an authorized dealer. They’re listed on page 2 of this PDF:

      http://www.usa.canon.com/app/pdf/dealer/CanonAuthorizedDealers.pdf

You can also check on the Canon rebate site. Click on “Authorized Canon Dealers for (7/6/2014 – 8/30/2014) for PRO-1, 10 or 100 printers, DSLR, PowerShot, Lenses or Paper AMEX Reward Card.”. Amazon.com is on that list too.

Amazon’s been an authorized dealer since, well, forever. Where are you quoting this from? I think the person writing that is misinformed.

When I click the link above it only adds the paper to my cart not the printer and the paper together ,, Is this deal still available even though it says it is backordered?

Hi Bonnie, no, unfortunately Amazon stopped taking back-orders on the printer. So it appears that this deal is now dead. I’ve updated the post again.

I clicked the link, and it worked and added everything to my cart?? So not sure if it is working again.
Also, on the Canon USA website there is till a $300 rebate listed for the PIXMA pro-100 and the pack of paper…

The price is not $299 for the printer anymore, so this ends up being over $100 instead of the $38 that made it originally a deal.
