Technically, this deal is backward: free Lightroom with the purchase of this printer. As a result the Lightroom 5 is a “bundle edition” (marked not for individual retail sale), but it is the exact same software and an equivalent full user license.
Is the copy of Lightroom 5 upgradable?
Bundled Lightroom has been upgradeable in the past (of course, you would need to purchase the upgrade), but I don’t want to give you a definitive answer. BuyDig or Adobe may be able to.

I received the printer today….with no Adobe Lightroom 5!!!! Ahhhhh!!
🙁 Call BuyDig ASAP tomorrow. They should rectify it. Let us know if they do or if they don’t.
I did email them after hours, and I will definitely let you know if they will send the Adobe, which wasn’t in the box….looks like it was a regular printer box, and not the deal box. I’ll call them as well. 🙂
Yea! They said the Adobe Lightroom 5 was shipped out separately from the printer by US Mail. The printer was shipped by FedEx. I should be receiving it shortly. Mystery solved. 🙂 Very nice customer service rep.
Hey guys just a heads up! Lightroom shipped separately from our printers! Got my printer today and promptly emailed BuyDig and they told me the software was coming USPS. Don’t panic!
