The price of this hard drive comes out to $26 per TB, which is a fairly good deal for a USB 3.0 external hard drive.
Over the next few days you may see an increased volume of posting on our site as many good deals are coming in. As is traditional with Black Friday, we expect to see many good deals on small items, such as hard drives, memory, software, color calibration, bags, and other photographic accessories.
I was interested in this one when Tigerdirect had it for $139 + (100-15) + (100-10) = 114. But people gives bad reviews on Seagate hard drives, I was scared.
I bought a PNY 90/60M 256G SD from Tigerdirect for 85.98. It is on sale for 99.99 (same as amazon), I was able to find something for just 0.99 with free shipping (a CPU cooler, now it is not fp) to active the 100-15 discount. I think if somebody can find something cheap to active the discount, 85 for a 256G 90/60M SD is a steal. 🙂
I wish it was a Western Digital drive. I’ve been burned too many times now by Seagate drives failing.
