This is a great price on a really nice lens. I bought mine used almost two years ago for $300. I agree with many reviewers who have found the optics to be just as sharp or sharper than the much more expensive Canon 14mm. Just be aware that this is an all-manual lens – no auto focus or auto aperture. It does work just fine in aperture priority mode though.

There seems to be a couple of versions of this same Rokinon lens with the earlier versions designs are different form that of the current design. So be careful in what you are purchasing.

What’s the big difference between this and the new Cine lens? http://rokinon.com/product.php?id=218

I’m thinking I like the improvements of the new lens but want to make sure I’m not missing something.

Yes, I’m 99% certain that this is the old version that Samyang/Rokinon originally pulled off the market in favor of the new improved model. Looks like they are dumping the old inventory via Adorama. Wish they were more clear about that. You can find reviews of both on lenstip.com if you care to learn the differences.
