Adobe is offering a great discount on the Creative Cloud Photography Plan. It’s now available at a price of $7.99 per month, a 20% discount from the regular $9.99 subscription price, on new sign-ups before the end of the month.

The Creative Cloud Photography Plan is an excellent way for photographers to get started with Lightroom and Photoshop. With it, you get access to the latest version of Photoshop, and the latest version of Lightroom for your desktop, mobile devices, and the web.

The newest version of Lightroom is fantastic — it’s much faster than Lightroom 5 (using the GPU to help offload some computation), and offers new HDR and Panorama merge features. With membership in the Adobe Creative Cloud you get access to new features as soon as they are available, without having to re-purchase software.

      I subscribed on the 1st of may, I chatted with a representative. I was able to cancel my subscription (within 30 day) and rejoined under the promotion rate.

    meanwhile they keep giving discounts to new people and make existing users pay $50/mo for other included programs. would be nice for a discount every now n then for existing. sorry to grumble grumble. and thanks for all your help here finding us deals. much appreciated.

    Gordon, I have been holding back on upgrading from LR 5 to LR 6 in case there are any early bugs. I haven’t heard about anything to this point. Are you seeing any problems? If not, I think I’ll go ahead and use this offer to go the CC subscription and add Photoshop.
