Black Friday: EOS 6D (Grey Market) for $999 GetItDigital via eBay

The eBay Black Friday deals are now live! Headlining today’s event is a deal from Get It Digital via eBay, they have the Canon EOS 6D for $999.00. This is the lowest price we’ve seen yet for this camera body (brand new).

Get It Digital via eBay is not an authorized dealer, so this item is grey market. A Canon USA warranty is not guaranteed. Readers report that the warranty has historically been honored by Canon USA, but given recent legal disputes, that may change.

Other than a potential upsell call (stay firm and insist they process your order at this price), readers report that they are a reliable dealer, shipping brand new bodies with zero shutter counts. That’s reflected in their 98%+ feedback score on high-value Canon items.

This hot deal’s price is exactly what we predicted it to be. For more info about grey market via eBay, please read our FAQ.

Don’t buy grey market gear. Canon is supposedly refusing to service any grey market products or send any canon parts to non canon authorized repair shops.

Do you have a source for this? The last update I heard from a reader (as recently as 3 weeks ago) is that Canon USA serviced their grey market body for warranty without issue. The only thing is they refused to warranty their warranty repair.

Yes, I’m aware of the litigation, but do you have a source for Canon changing their policy and now refusing to service grey market products? Up until now their (unofficial and discretionary) policy has been to still service grey market items, and as far as I know that hasn’t changed.

Meh….not me. I pile the miles on my gear and I just can’t spend that kind of money on something that may or may not be under warranty.
