Hefty restock 15% fee if you are not happy, otherwise I would give them a go.

Honest question… why wouldn’t you be happy? It’s a 5D Mark III, and you know the warranty situation up front. No real surprises.

You are right…no surprises and it sounds as though others have had a positive experience with the seller. Perhaps I’ve been jaded by eBayers selling “Mint” 5DIIIs that look as though they were dropped from a moving vehicle and have 150K shutter actuations, oh and have bent CF card pins and missing battery compartment door but otherwise “Mint” condition! LOL

The restock fee doesn’t reply if you’re returning defective product for a replacement. It only applies if you are returning the camera because you decide you do not like it. A bit hefty, but makes sense, as they can no longer sell the camera as new, and also have to pay for shipping costs.

It’s Grey Market. Website says one year warranty provided by the seller. I called them to ask about returns and there is customer service. They will replace a defective item and provide free return shipping. They are not a fly by night and will most likely work with you if your camera breaks after the initial return period. In the end these are all the same cameras whether sold by an authorized Cannon dealer or not. Your just saving money not having a warranty through Canon. I ended up with a Canon 80D from this seller. Everything is working fine.

If you don’t warrantee this camera because it’s an in authorized dealer why do you promote them?
