When you purchase the Canon PGI-72 (10 Tanks) for PIXMA PRO-10 for $134.99 or the Canon CLI-42 (8 Tanks) for PIXMA PRO-100 for $124.99, you get 6 packages of 50-sheet 13″x19″ paper: 2 packs of Premium Matte, 2 packs of Semi-gloss, and 2 packs of Pro Lustre. That’s about $240 of free paper (although Canon claims it’s $600 worth.)

If you have the Pixma Pro-10, instead of ordering the 10 pack of tanks, order one each of the 6 colors and the black combo pack with chroma optimizer. This gives you a full set of tanks for $145.93 (about $10 more than the 10 tank pack.). Use promo code EIDPRM with the current promos and this is what you get free. (This is probably is similar for the Pro-100 tanks as well.)

Just as an FYI, if you have the Pro-100, you get the same 6 pack paper deal if you just buy the 5 pack of color tanks at 80.99 That’s a slight increase in cost per ink tank, but lower overall spend if that matters.

Even better is doing the separate inks. If you buy $50 worth you get the free shipping and they give you even more freebies. I bought 4 of the individual PGI-72 tanks and wound up with 600 more of the 4×6 sheets plus something like 340 sheets of 13×19 paper. My total was $64. Realized last night that there are two other colors I hadn’t ordered but need, so I am going to see if I can do the deal again a day later.
Cancel that, as the sale on individual inks seems to be over.

My order of yesterday 08/04 at evening was canceled today. I ordered the tanks individually as recommended here using EIDPRM code, but I have no luck. Also, it seems that the premium matte 13×19″ paper is out of stock. So, deal is expired partially for now.
