Bundle Deals Still Live, including 70-200 II or 100-400 II $1649 AR

We’re very surprised to see many of the PIXMA PRO-100 printer bundle deals still live. These are incredible deals, after the Canon mail-in rebate; you get the 13-month Canon CarePAK Plus on the camera or lens, and a fantastic PIXMA PRO-100 printer. The printer can be parted and sold for about $140 on the secondary market.

The Canon mail-in rebate expires on December 31st, so we don’t know if these very popular deals will last much longer.

Pro-100 printers (sand bar code from the box) only go for well under $100 on eBay. 😉

That’s because the shipping cost on a full printer is too large. Looks like the ink itself is going for about $100-$110, and the print head about $70, these are both small enough items to ship and you should net about $140 after shipping and fees.

No one’s gonna pay more for the included ink and print head that’s already in the box. :/

Rob LeBlanc Been there. Not in my area at least.Lately there’s been a bunch of articles on how you can move these items but they’re just not based in reality. I’m in the market for the 100-400 but it means the hassle of the MIR and what do do with my third Pro -100. I’d almost rather pay the street price of $100 more and not have the hassle.

I got the three of them.
I’m using one, have another as a backup, and gave away the third to a friend.
Trying to sell them is futile, and a profit of $140 after doing so is ridiculously unrealistic.

This link here has further links to eBay sales history that prove the selling price for spare ink and print heads on the secondary market. Also, read link for comments from other readers that will backup our numbers. Given that brand new ink goes for $120-130, no surprise that people are willing to pay $100-110 for ink taken from a new printer. Similar with the print head, which can burn out and be replaced. http://www.canonpricewatch.com/blog/2016/12/a-surprising-tip-for-getting-more-money-for-your-pixma-pro-100/

So you’re saying to remove the ink and head and sell just those and then toss at the actual printer?

    7. December 26, 2016 at 8:11 pm EDT

Yes. You’ll make more than just selling the printer.

      Seems so wasteful.

Also pleasantly surprised to see the bundle deal still available. My 5D3+Tascam Mic+ printer bungle arrived great and happy to get it. Thanks for the heads up.

Orrrr….Keep the printer and use it to help grow your business, as Canon intended for its customers. Haha parting out an incredible printer?! LMAO
