Adorama has an excellent deal (this week only) on the Induro GIT204 Grand Series 2 Stealth Carbon Fiber Tripod for $349.00 (34% off, regular price is $525).
This is a stable professional-grade tripod, supporting up to 44 lbs of weight — the tripod only weighs 4.2 lbs with its 4-section twist-lock carbon fiber legs. Also impressive is the warranty — five years, extendable to ten years, if you register your tripod with the manufacturer online.
I’m trying to figure out if it will work with this gimbal: Movo GH800 Carbon Fiber Professional Gimbal Tripod Head with Arca-Swiss Quick-Release Plate
Anybody knows?
Thanks!
There should be no issue with these legs working with that gimbal head. If there is an issue with the threads not fitting, you can get a relatively inexpensive screw converters, such as this one I picked at random.

I recently outfitted my MeFoto monopod with a ballhead from another travel tripod and had to use the screw mount converter. It works brilliantly, when I use the monopod.
David, thank you for your reply! I actually own a MeFoto globetrotter tripod. I wasn’t sure if I could use it at all for a different ballhead! How did you do it? I would really appreciate an insight.
