We now have a drop in our street price for the EOS 5D Mark IV with EF 24-105mm f/4L IS II: it is now only $4099 from a Canon USA authorized dealer, free shipping and a 1-year Canon USA warranty. This is the new “II” version of the lens which is still difficult to find in-stock.
The also have a similar drop on the EOS 5D Mark IV with EF 24-70mm f/4L IS to $3899. Our 5D Mark IV body-only street price remains $3099, but please note limited quantities remain.
Not impressed with this price.
Agreed! The 24-105mm II’s performance is about the same as the original version, but you pay almost double the price…the 5D IV should be priced at around $2800, just be compatible to other competitors, and the 24-105mm II should be the same price as version I.
Pass.
ONLY $4099. I’ll take two – NOT!
Find me a way to finance it affordably and I’ll take it.
dont need it ……….Iam a professional photographer and use 50d`s only
Not sure what to make of this lol
my 50d`s will produce just as good photos as the 5d markIV
Thanks for the morning humor.
Yea that’s not gonna happen Cole.
sure it will…i prove it every day
a pro dont need a 4,000 dollar camera and lens to make top quality photos …..I do use “L” lens on my 50D`s
With all that money you save on pro gear you think you could hire a graphic designer jfc
Keaton Foley dont need one …….smiles
Haha this post is full of lols
Juan Ruelas Happy i made your day.now go see if you can manage to take a good photo ………lol
Yes. You do.
Keaton Foley thats what you think ..you have that right to think what you want to
While I think you are overstating your comparison to the 5D from the 50D, if it is good enough for all the things you do, then you aren’t necessarily wrong. Tech specs, the 5D is the better camera, but the best camera is always the one you have, not the one you don’t. Every good photographer knows what their gear can and can’t do, and so long as that works for them, then it’s the best. If you outgrow it, then upgrade.
I would think that most people do not need a 5D. I jsut got my 80D from the Canon refurb sale, and it’s a HUGE upgrade from my T3i. I’d love a 5D, but I don’t think I’m gonna be photographing the Super Bowl, or going on an exotic safari anytime soon.
Iam a professional photographer (Retired from AP) freelance now for fun and have no use for the newer models or any full frame……. I do quality work with my 50d`s
