Hot: Grey Market Tamron 24-70mm f/2.8 VC for $699, Quickndone eBay

Quickndone via eBay has the grey market Tamron SP 24-70mm f/2.8 DI VC USD for Canon for $699.99. This is the lowest price we’ve seen yet for this stabilized and fast lens, great value! We’re told this deal ends May 31st or when sold out.

Please note Quickndone via eBay is not an authorized Tamron dealer, so this does not come with a Tamron manufacturer warranty. Unlike Canon, Tamron is not known to service grey market items. You can add a 3-year SquareTrade warranty for $90 to your purchase, which will cover you in lieu of the manufacturer warranty.

Nice price, how about for Nikon? And bring it down another $150 while you’re at it, then I’d buy immediately…

Don’t know this lens, can anyone speak for it’s sharpness and overall quality? I think the obvious comparison would be to the 24-70mm F2.8L, but as an APS-C guy, I gotta wonder how it stacks up against the 17-55mm F2.8 as well?

This is the video that convinced me to get the Tamron over the Canon: https://youtu.be/mQSuexEQcgM.
The image quality is slightly below the Canon 24-70 f2.8 II but the Tamron has better price to performance. And the Tamron has image stabilization while the Canon does not.

I shoot with this lens primarily for my landscapes and wide angels. Very sharp and the quality is amazing if you have instagram check @one3__ it’s mostly piTunes from that lens

I’m guessing piTunes was some kind of goofy auto-correct fail. LOL!

Betting this gets replaced by Christmas. A new G2 to sit alongside their new 70-200.
