I already have the Tamron 16-300. Looks like an upgrade is in the near future. Will pair well on my 7D2.

With a 22x factor, this lens due to the limitation of physics HAS to be soft on both the long and short end without exceptions. Yet, this lens will appeal to the casual snapshooter who refuses to put the effort in swapping out lenses. For my money, I’d buy a refurbished 135F2 at this price point although I know that lens appeals to a completely different group of photographers.
