Canon Price Increases and Expiring Rebates In The New Year

We currently have many fantastic Canon holiday deals, but unfortunately many of these promotions are coming to an end. We summarize all the major deals expiring over the next two weeks. Don’t miss out! We’re not expecting to see prices and deals this great until Holiday 2018.

December 30th, 2017

  • Canon Multi-Lens Combo Mail-in Rebates Expire

Until December 30th, when you purchase multiple lenses from Canon USA authorized dealers, you can receive up-to $150 mail-in rebate per-lens. This program will expire on December 30th unless renewed by Canon USA. This has been very popular, you can look at some of our bundle deals or build-your-own bundle via our street price program.

December 31st, 2017

  • PIXMA PRO-100 Mail-in Rebate ($250/$350) Expires

December 31st is the last day for the PIXMA PRO-100 mail-in rebate. This is actually a good thing, because we expect this rebate to renewed, which will “reset” the eligibility. You will be able to do a new printer rebate starting January 1st (even if you participated in the October 1st – December 31st rebates). Hopefully some of the printer rebate bundles deals will still be live.

January 6th, 2018

  • Instant Rebate Reductions (Effective Price Increase) on Cameras and Lenses

Sadly, holiday discounts will end. Canon is reducing the instant rebate on many popular cameras and lenses, and prices will be going up to pre-holiday levels. Slated for rebate reduction are the 5D Mark IV, 6D Mark II, as well as the 5D Mark III (great bundle deal at B&H). As for lenses: many of the popular lenses will go up in price, including the 24-70 II, 70-200 II, and 100-400mm II.

  • Free Battery Grip (with 5D Mark IV or 6D Mark II) Promotion Expires

One of the most popular deals in the last month has been the inclusion of a free Canon battery grip (BG-E20 or BG-E21) with purchase of the 5D Mark IV or 6D Mark II, respectively. This promotion expires on January 6th. Some of our street price options (5D Mark IV or 6D Mark II) qualify for the free grip, please inquire.

  • Free CarePAK PLUS Promotion Expires

Canon is currently offering a free 13-month CarePAK PLUS extended warranty with purchase of select cameras and lenses. This will expire on January 6th. We think Canon CarePAK PLUS delivers great value (especially when it’s free!), you can read our post explaining this benefit.

Please take advantage now before these great promotions expire. We’re not expecting to see prices this great until Holiday 2018.
