5D Mark III for $2574: Live Again, US Model, According to Store

AllNewShop via eBay (same company as Get It Digital) has the Canon EOS 5D Mark III for $2574.99.

We (and some of our readers) are now told by the store that the bodies in the sale are indeed Canon USA model! You can read our article about what this means, but in short they will have Canon USA warranty.

Get It Digital is not an authorized dealer, but they are one of the most reliable unauthorized dealers. Because they are unauthorized there is no need for a mail in rebate; your first and final price is $2574.99. This is Saturday’s eBay Daily Deal, but was extended until today — over one hundred bodies have been sold.

Had a promo for 4x Ebay bucks, but didn’t see it until AFTER the deal died. Oh well. Still finding it hard to justify the upgrade from the 6D.

Thanks for the details on this special – I just received my 5D3 and am loving it. The store shipped promptly and immediately contacted me after it arrived to make sure everything was OK. All that and free shipping too!

I just received my 5D3 body and thank you for the information! I do have one question about how you can tell if the body is USA model. The kit box has multi languages, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, English etc. But the kit box of my 5D2, bought from Fry’s, only has English on it. Is the 5D3 body/kit imported?

Any warranty card in the box? What’s the default language of the firmware? And, what are the languages in the manual? What prongs are on the power adapter?

If the camera is a US model from unauthorized dealer, will it covered by Canon USA warranty?

Also, I just sold my 5D Mark II, desperately need this camera. Will the deal be active again around Memorial day? I mean based on the historical data. Thank you!

If a camera is US model from an unauthorized dealer, based on a survey we did in 2012, Canon will accept it for repair service.

Unfortunately I can’t predict when this sale will happen again. 🙂

I received mine as we’ll and I love it. But there was no warranty card in the box. I’ve just messages them on eBay to ask about this. I expected the warranty card to be in the box.

One thing to note is the absence of a USA warranty card doesn’t indicate that it’s import version — the original US authorized dealer may have removed these cards prior to selling them to the unauthorized dealer.

Language of the box, manuals, and default language in camera firmware are tell-tale signs.

Please keep us informed on what the store says, and perhaps report on box language, manuals, and the default language in-camera.

@canonpricewatch, they said exactly what you said. They were removed but they gave me the link to register it. Everything about it, the box, camera and all documentation where English versions. I’m super pumped, what a deal. Thanks guys!!!
