Amazon “Prime Day” July 15th, “More Deals than Black Friday”

Amazon has been hyping up their “Prime Day”, Wednesday July 15th. “Prime Day” is a one-day shopping event, and they’re claiming to have “more deals than Black Friday”. Access to the deals is restricted to Amazon Prime members only. CanonPriceWatch will be watching the deals on that day.

Historically, the Amazon lightning deals have been an excellent way to get great prices on memory cards, accessories, and off-brand lenses. We doubt we’ll see Canon items on sale (due to the MAP) but you never know…

As the deals are restricted to Amazon Prime members only, now would be a good time to sign-up for a free 30-day trial of Prime if you haven’t yet already.

If you purchase something through a link on our site, we may get a small share of the sale (at no cost to you). Please read our disclosure for more info.

Nice! I see that as well. Prize is a $10,000 Amazon gift card.
