Thank goodness I set a notification for the 100-400 II. Snapped it up based on notification from CPW – Damn – what a deal!!! Christmas came early this year! Thanks CPW!!!
The 70-200 f4 IS is sold out already? You just posted this ad.
Yeah. Things sell out within minutes.
CanonPriceWatch.com I saw the post when it was 15 minutes old and the 100 was already sold out. Got to be quick!
Looks like they have one 70-200 f4 IS left as of a couple minutes ago.
A single 100-400 II and a single 70-200 f/4 IS restocked just now.

Just a reminder that if you are really keen on buying a particular lens during the promo, it pays to keep checking the site. I was watching the 24-70 2.8 which was re-stocked and sold out before being re-stocked and selling out again a few hours later. Sometimes the alerts catch it right away but sometimes there is a delay (I caught the 16-35 earlier in the day without an alert, which came later when it was restocked for the second time).
Wow. Those 16-35 f/4Ls were gone almost instantly! (For almost $200 less than grey market it’s not surprising.) Tried to buy it about 5 minutes after they went up.
These offers are too good to be true – go the 16-35 f/4 Id like to make your visitors aware that you can get bonus United Miles 2 for every dollar you spend when purchasing directly through Canon as with these refurb-products. So its whatever your credit card points are plus 2. You could check other airlines and see if they offer this promotion as well.
*you do need to sign in to the mileage plus account and then select canon as the sellor though.
Neil, I prefer to make my camera and lens purchases by clicking to the product through the links provided here on CanonPriceWatch. (Versus clicking through to the store via my airline’s shopping program.) When doing so (although I’m not sure about the Canon Refurbished Store), CanonPriceWatch receives a very tiny kick-back, or what’s known as an affiliate payment. Using an affiliate link does not cost the consumer anything, but it does help CanonPriceWatch offset a portion of the costs associated with running this website. CanonPriceWatch is an incredible resource for consumers, so it’s the right thing to do to support them as much as possible. It’s the least we can do, especially when using this website to find so many amazing deals. Over the last few years, CanonPriceWatch has saved me thousands of dollars.
Thank you, Bryan, and other users like you! We work hard to make our site useful and we appreciate your support!
I didn’t know there was any benefit by purchasing the refurbished items for the owners of the website…sorry about that.
Grabbed the 70-200 2.8 is II soon as I got the notification… Thanks CanonPriceWatch for the assist. Great to save $1000
That’s a super steal. I got mine new and its one of my all time favorite lenses!
D’oh! Missed the restock of the restock of the 70-200 f/4.
