    MAkes me wonder what hard drive is actually inside that enclosure…b/c “Gtechnology” isn’t a hard drive manufacturer. It’s either a Western digital, hitatchi, or seagate hard drive inside…and probably the cheapest line of drives. I wouldn’t trust my data to this…

      You probably shouldn’t trust your data to a single drive anyway — RAID is your friend. I use external drives like this to backup my RAID or move files around (physically).

      Actually GTech uses HGST drives and they are rated as some of the most reliable on the market.
