By popular request, we added a new feature — we now show the inventory/stock count of the Canon Direct Store. You can see the inventory counts in the green deal boxes on main page posts (under the price), or on the Refurb Stock Tracker in the “Last in Stock” column.
For example, the refurbished EOS 6D for 20% off deal at $1215.36 has 215 in-stock at time of posting. Use coupon code “ZOMBIE2143” to activate this deal. We’ve been watching hundreds get bought per day since the sale began. At this rate, it will sell out before the sale ends on Saturday evening.
This feature will be useful if lenses restock — some restocks are bigger than other, and now you’ll know if they’re stocking just one copy, or hundreds. In the future we’ll also include the inventory/stock count information in the e-mail notifications.
Very cool!
Hard to believe they have 215 refurbed 6Ds.
As of noon, now down to 201. They’ve been selling at the rate of a hundred or more per day — I think they started with almost a thousand at the beginning of the sale.
Quick question… Other than the previous adorama sale with the lens and Pro-10 (?) printer… it this the best deal so far to pick up a 6D? Is it reasonable to think we might see similar pricing at Thanksgiving and Christmas?
This is the best deal that we’ve seen so far. We might see a tiny bit lower on the new front, but for refurbished this will probably be the best deal; I haven’t seen the Canon store discount more than 20% on bodies before.
Mine showed up today as new with 130 shutter clicks!
Looking for clarification… when you say ” We might see a tiny bit lower on the new front”… my estimate with the Adorama 6D kit sale ($2200 after rebate) is that if you turn around and sell the lens ($600) and printer ($600) on ebay, the 6D will only end up costing about $600 to $800. You think we might see a price like that again then? Seems most everyone else only offered the other cheaper printer in their kits as opposed to the Pro-10 which puts the value of the 6D closer to this sale price of the refurb without the hassle of selling the un-needed items.
My clarification is: we might see the new prices drop below what they are now ($1574), especially due to pressure from refurbished. If I had to guess — $1499 body-only during the holidays. Probably nowhere close to the $1200 level.
I’ve been watching the printer resale market a bit — the PRO-10 and PRO-100 BNIB resale prices have been dropping a lot lately (due to all of these deals). I’m typically seeing PRO-100 at about $135+shipping now and PRO-10 around $300-$350 now. Lens is about $600 now. That puts the new price after the hassle of selling at around $1250-$1300; I’d only suggest a printer bundle if you actually intend to keep the printer.
Mine showed up with 0 actuations in the counter. Battery was not charged though so not able to paly with it right away.
What is everyone using to check actuations? Every tool I’m trying can’t find the camera. I put in a brand new flash drive and the image count started at 00001, but I seem to be getting conflicting internet searches on if this is an accurate measure. I also seem to be able to find how to get actuations on every camera but the 6D.
I used the Mac app ShutterCount
They don’t accept international credit card, what a bummer
Mine just showed up, shutter count of 11. Great deal!
