Mail-in rebates are back! Canon USA has started a mail-in rebate on their most popular lenses, valid on purchases from authorized USA dealers. This rebate period runs from Sunday, May 3rd through to Saturday May 30th. This rebate is on top of the already lowered prices from the permanent price drop.
Our street prices below are from Canon USA authorized dealers and valid for the mail-in rebate. Judging from the large amount of interest already, this will be an extremely popular rebate period, featuring some of the lowest street prices we’ve seen yet. Free shipping, and no tax to most states.

Just ordered the 17-200 f2.8, 16-35 f4 and a Canon 6D. Thanks for helping me put all of this together!
How to claim this rebate? I don’t see a download link for the rebate form. Or the dealer will mail a form to me?
Here’s a link to the rebate form:

Any deals on 5d mk3?
Try here- http://www.canonpricewatch.com/street-prices/ Looks like the price currently is about $200 higher than last week. Keep checking back there for street prices, etc. I suspect it will go down to $1999 again.

How does this work? B&H sells the 70-200 f2.8 ii for $1999 after the mail in rebate. How can you get the same lens for $1799, for $200 cheaper. Is the lens you’re selling grey market, used, etc?
The lens is brand new, Canon USA model/warranty, not grey market. Read our FAQ for more details about street price. Essentially, due to the Canon Minimum Advertised Price Policy, authorized dealers are unable to advertise discounts.
How this works is CPW has retailers who are willing to sell at lower than list price without advertising it. Canon doesn’t let them advertise lower prices but can’t stop them from doing it without advertising. Unless specifically noted, the lenses and cameras aren’t grey market and they’re never used. Email CPW with what you want to buy at the street prices they list and they will email you back with the contact information for the retailer providing the deal. Then you contact the retailer directly. Plenty of us have saved a lot of money buying through the CPW Street Price program.
Interesting…. The code 8191344 isn’t being accepted on the Pre-Submit site. (My lens was purchased 5.3.2015)
It takes about a week before the pre-submit site to update to a new rebate.
